If you have spent any time in Corpus Christi, there is a good chance that you have seen a food truck or two time to time. The problem is that you find your favorite food truck, only for it to disappear, which is quite frustrating. You can say goodbye to that frustration by attending Food Truck Fridays, an event held on the last Friday of every month.
Food Truck Fridays lasts from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Corpus Christi Visitor Information Center. You might see the same trucks each time you go, or there might be new ones. If preferred, you can check the event page to find out which trucks will be there on Friday, March 31.
Along with the food trucks, Food Truck Fridays feature live music and lawn games. Although there is no charge to attend, you will have to pay for the food. In addition, tips are always welcome. If you find yourself jamming out to live music, remember to leave the musician or band a few dollars, as a way of thanking them for the performance. It is always good to reward good music. That way, the musicians will be more inclined to come back and play again.
A large number of food trucks typically come to Food Truck Fridays. In the past, Hi Ho on the Go, Iron Piñata, Lone Stone Hawaiian Ice, Tailfins Seafood to Go, Dine N Dash, and others have parked at the information center for the event. Because there is such a wide assortment of options, people have no a problem finding foods they like. That makes this event great for large groups of friends. Invite family, friends, and co-workers!
There are great food truck rallies all over the state that you should check out. Hop in your new car from Mike Shaw Kia in Corpus Christi, TX and cruise all over town to find the next big food truck destination. See you soon!
