If you’re looking for something new and interesting to do this winter with family and friends, then this event is just for you. Come out and enjoy a walk as you explore The Nature Preserve at Charlie’s Pasture on a free docent-led nature walk. There are over two miles of hiking and biking trails for you to venture through. They are made with crushed granite and boardwalk, so no worries about rough paths or hard hikes.
The Nature Preserve Views
There are 1,217 acres of land that make up The Nature Preserve at Charlie’s Pasture. If you join us on the walk you will enjoy serene habitats of salt marsh and algal flats. The natural sounds of the habitat flood the area as you hear herons, egrets, and the whisper of salt cord grass create ambient noise.
Multiple Charlie’s Pasture Tours
The tours are on Fridays from November 11th– March 24th, 2pm- 4pm at Charlie’s Pasture Phase I pavilion. It is located at the end of Port Street, past the ferry landing in Port Arkansas, TX 78373. The address is 1300 Port St. Port Aransas, TX 78373, USA. The exact dates for the tours are December 2nd, December 9th, and December 16th.
Sponsors of the Tours
